In Phnom Penh:

- It is reminded that the wearing of the helmet is mandatory and that the conditions of motorcycle traffic are particularly dangerous in Cambodia.

- It is recommended that in Phnom Penh, as well as in major urban centers, especially Siem Reap and Sihanoukville / Kompong Som, caution should be used when traveling at night.

- Do not wear on you - let alone do not show - large sums of money or valuables, due to the risk of snatching.

- Leave your passport and airline ticket in a safe place and keep only a photocopy of these documents.

- In case of aggression, do not oppose any resistance.

- Do not leave your passport with car rental agencies (cars or motorbikes) or hoteliers.

- Take good advantage of police checks.

- Ensure that decent attire is maintained, particularly in and around temples, religious buildings and historic heritage sites.

- It is important to maintain a good level of vigilance during a stay in Cambodia, especially during national holidays.
